This year we are going to be heading to beautiful Camp Crestview in the Columbia River Gorge where we will join other High Schoolers from Salem to Camas. This will be an awesome week full of fun activities as well as time to grow closer to God through times of worship, devotions, small groups and powerful messages. You won't want to miss out!
Riding in aircrafts is the most efficient way to travel across the country and around the world. If you've ever done this, you know that it is not always a smooth ride. Sometimes the weather gets rough and the plane as big as it is shakes with turbulence. It's amazing to see in the book of Acts the early church as big and full of power as it was, still faced trials that shook them up. The turbulence they faced resulted in persecution, imprisonment, and even death. Yet when the turbulence got rough they would get together, much like they did in Acts 4, and seek God. They would soon experience not the enemy shaking the church any longer, but the Power of the Holy Spirit. There was a new turbulence. A shaking that empowered the church and weakened the enemy.
Camp Crestview offers a variety of activities including...
A swimming pool with basketball hoops, rock wall, zip line, black hole water slide, paint ball, archery, a gym, pool tables, hiking trails, volleyball, ping pong, foosball, ropes course, and kayaking.
On top of all the fun activities we will also be having a Summer Prom Dance one night, a Hillbilly Hoe Down, sports day, nerds day, pool games like synchronized swimming, belly flop contest, basketball slam dunk contest, 4 on 4 half court, 3 point shoot out and more.
