Teen Alpha
Overview:The Teen Alpha course is an eleven-week opportunity to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith to your life today. It is a practical introduction to the basics of Christianity centered around a meal, music, activities, a talk, and small group discussion.
All Teens Are Invited:
Teens come for different reasons, from different backgrounds, and with different opinions - but at Teen Alpha, those differences only add to the conversation and often lead to greater understanding. To date, over 1.5 million people have taken Alpha courses in the United States and Canada alone.
Ask Anything:
Teen Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile, and all viewpoints are respected.
Life is full of tough times - shaky employment, relationship struggles, parent troubles and illness. No matter what you are facing, Teen Alpha is a place to ask why - with the freedom to share, or just sit back and listen.
Is there a God? Why am I here? Who is Jesus? What about other religions? Teen Alpha tackles these and other questions each week. Chances are somebody in your group is wondering the same thing you are
Building Friendships:
Some of the closest and most long-lasting friendships have been built at an Alpha course. Alpha friendship goes beyond the standard: "What is your name and what do you do?" So you connect on a more personal level. On the weekend retreat, which is not required but a key part of the Teen Alpha course, you get to know each other even better.
How Much?
There is no charge for the Teen Alpha course, although you may be asked to make a donation toward the cost of the meal and the weekend retreat.
Interested?
The first night is not a commitment. It is simply a chance to see if Teen Alpha might be right for you. Bring a friend. If you like what you hear and want to return for the rest of the course, we'd love to have you.
